Cesare Borgia, falling off of the tower in 1502, ends up in 21st century Cumberland and almost scaring a historical estate restorer half to death. Seeing the differences in the time periods, he goes into a state of shock that reminds Emily 'Lily' Stales of her war-scarred father when he came back from fighting in Iraq, soon him admitting himself into a psych-ward because he didn't know the difference between family, friend or foe. Soon he eases from his shock while she finds out he had disappeared from the past completely. Falling for him, Lily learns she, along with the horrible memories of her father, have to let him go when the time comes. But who will he choose? Will he head back to 1502 Italy to die from what she had told him or stay in the future with Lily, to learn more about who his father was and how corrupted he had been living his life? (Description inside; mix of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and The Borgias... Nothing that is related to Cesare is mine and disclosure inside as well.)

Speranza Chilometri; a mysterious assassin on a quest for revenge. She's cunning, quick, and much stronger than she looks. With a dark past and maybe a dark future, she's distant, and no one save for few even know of her existence. She's dangerous, but that's why Ezio is so intrigued by her.
