Goofy. Rebellious. Strange. 'Nerdy'. Dangerous. These are just a few words to describe Riley Storms. Being a teenager is hard enough, hell, growing up is a difficult task. Being normal isn't something that this spunky sixteen year old has ever been used to. Her father is the leader of Mayhem, the most powerful gang in the America's and her mother runs '204', the most lethal mafia in Europe. So when she and her family pack up and move to a small town in Texas, she thinks of it as an opportunity to be her own person, to leave the stigma her family name gave her back in New York. She can be just an average teenage girl, a fresh start where no one knows anything about her families past. Until she meets Ethan King. Notorious 'Bad Boy' of the town. She's his next 'target'. He thinks it'll be easy to get her to fall to her knees, begging for him to take her right then and there. But she's Riley fucking Storms. She refuses to cave in so easily. Ethan grows curious about this mysterious new girl. He doesn't know what it is that draws him to this seemingly innocent good girl. But he's determined to find out what that pull is. With her stubbornness, and his tempter, things don't go as plan. But he's still mind-set on finding out about her. Curiosity killed the cat, right? Good thing he's not a cat. She's stubborn and hardheaded, he's temperamental and cold. Sound familiar? They say history repeats itself. I mean, like mother like daughter, right?

HIGHEST RANKING #3 POLICE EXCERPT "What don't I understand!?" He glares, patience wearing thin. He neared dangerously close each stride heavier than the other. His alluring aura screamed danger and frustration. "You make me so angry-" his dark brown orbs glaring directly at me. Fire simmered in those brown eyes. He looked absolutely livid. "-So frustrated!" He cornered me against the wall. "You make me want to turn Vincent's apartment upside down, you make me want to destroy everything in my path-" he leaned so close in, his nose gently skimmed mine even though everything about him was aggressive. "-And yet all of that makes me fall harder in love with you." His blazing eyes faltered as they stare directly at mine. *edit ON HOLD-ish

Alexa Grey. Brandon Flemming. Sebastian O'Connor. Girl. Boxer. Fighter. --- excerpt --- A boy around my age was getting mercilessly beaten by someone with their back to me. I recoiled in horror at the sight of blood everywhere and the cracking of his ribs as punch after punch knocked through him. The boy must have noticed that I was there as he lifted his head, looking at me with a desperate plea for help. Then his attacker turned around and my eyes nervously met Sebastian's. Within milliseconds, anger overtook me and I stormed over. "Leave." Sebastian growled, barely even glancing at me as he pushed me straight into a brick wall. "Stop hitting him," I gasped, trying to get my breath back as I moved away from the wall. "Get out of here." There was nothing but stone cold harshness in Sebastian's voice as he ordered me once again to leave. "No." My breath had been regained and I was standing taller now, my confidence for some reason soaring. "I said," He spat out the words, turning away from the boy and towards me, "to get out of here." "Make me." I didn't even blink as I locked eyes with him, daring him to lay another finger on me. "Fine." Sebastian slammed me back against the wall, grabbing my bandaged wrist and twisting it. There was nothing I could do to hold back the small scream that escaped my lips as he applied more and more pressure. Yet I made no attempt to move away. "Don't touch him." I managed to say, desperately trying to keep my voice as smooth as possible. "I don't have to listen to you," He scoffed. "You don't. But you should." "Oh, and why should I?" Sebastian had visibly calmed down now, it was obvious. Even the tight grip on my wrist had loosened completely. "Because you're better than that." I replied softly, moving myself away from the wall and glancing down at the semi-conscious boy. "You over-estimate me then." With that, Sebastian dropped back and walked off without a single look behind him.
