Castiel never liked people, and although he has nothing against his college room mate Dean personally, he finds that Dean is no exception. But Dean seems to like Cas like no one ever has before, and Cas is starting to think maybe people aren't all bad.

Dean and Castiel are married now, and they couldn't be happier. Their life is finally making sense. But then an old ex of Dean's, Angel, becomes a mechanic at the shop where he works, and he rekindles a friendship with her. Although Dean has no ideas of romance, Cas can't seem to let it go, and Dean must figure out how to convince Cas that there is only one angel he truly loves.

After Dean gives a blind man shelter during a storm, a friendship begins forming between the two. Dean begins to notice that something is off about Castiel, and he can't figure out what it is, but that doesn't stop the growing attraction Dean has for him.

Dean Winchester has been going to Souix Falls High School ever since moving to his sort-of-uncle Bobby's place in his sophomore year with his brother Sam. He doesn't expect his senior year to be that enjoyable, but then he meets Castiel Novak, new senior and mute since he was seven. Dean has never fallen for someone harder, and Castiel doesn't seem to want anything to do with Dean. Cas asks Dean to stay away from him, but Dean just can't help himself...

He’s the quarter back, he has a sexy girlfriend, and a posse that follows his every move. People think he has the most perfect life but, they couldn’t be any more wrong. He has a lot of family issues. His parents are fighting all of the time, there is rarely a moment when they aren’t yelling. Their actions take a toll on Dean’s little brother Sam, giving him anxiety and causing him to hate loud noises. But, Dean comforts him the best he can and the kid is pretty normal and happy when their parents aren’t home. Fate brings the boys together and their lives change drastically. “You saved me.” “We saved each other.”
