The journey towards spring is symbolic of how from the beginning I have this desire to 'find' spring. Spring for me represents this ultimate state of living my life. It describes me living my best life, being at my best state of mind and at my happiest. I start this book with "Winter" because I am in a very dark mental space when my journey of healing and bettering my mental health begins. As I step out of this dark space I am "Apprehensive" but not completely opposed to love and then I meet someone. At first, I think I have found Spring in someone "I met the Sun" but as that falls apart and I realize he was merely "false Spring" After months of "Mourning" what I thought would be my Spring. I start to heal, and this is evident by "And I remember when I used to love him pt. 3". In this process of healing a new me is born in 'Coming Home" and "Conversations" By the end of the book I realize that spring cannot be found in a person, nor can it be found at all. It is something you must create. Mental health is a seed that you must consistently water with positive affirmations, meditation, nature, prayer and eventually the state of mind that is Spring, will blossom in your own mind.

*COMPLETED* "You think I'd murder you?" He laughed humorlessly. "I- what?" I stuttered, looking at him with a lost expression. If he didn't want to kill me, what was all of this then? "What's your name, speedy?" He asked after shaking his head. "Why would I-I tell you my name?" I tried to sound brave, but this whole scenario was just freaking me out. "I'll find out, eh?" He gave me a smirk. What? "For what? You can just kill me now. I don't want to live like this anymore." I breathed out. I really don't. His loud and obnoxious laugh pulled me out of my thoughts. What's so funny? "You're funny. But-" He took a step closer and I immediately stepped backwards. "-the stunt you pulled last week-" My back hit the wall and I gasped as he stood only a few inches away from me now. His finger lifted my chin and I gulped. "-was not." His smirk was replaced by a serious expression. His eyes were so dark and captivating, I couldn't look away. "And you know what they say, speedy?" He continued as his eyes flickered towards my mouth. I shook my head and his smirk was back. "Keep your friends close. But-" He clenched his jaw. "Keep your enemies closer."
