The Test was designed to decide where the citizens of the Great City live: the luxurious Innercity, the agricultural Middlecity, or the polluted Outercity. Growing up in the Innercity, Cassandra has always pictured herself at the top. The top of her class, the top of her peers, and soon, the top of the Innercity. It also helps that her mother is the Test Administrator. But to secure the life she has always wanted, she must pass, no, dominate the Test. When the Test doesn't go as planned, Cassandra must choose between her friendships, battle invisible forces, and survive the life the Test had given her. Because the Test can't be wrong. Right? completed (: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." Four months ago Sam Clarke's life turned upside down. Four months ago she was involved in a scheduled checkup on a nearby Afghanistan town when everything went south. Four months ago is when she lost returned from not only losing her brother, but the loss of her leg. ➹ ➹ ➹ ➹ Sam Clarke was-scratch that-is a active duty army veteran, the catch? She's in high school and no one even knows that she was half way across the world during the summer, or the fact that she doesn't have a leg anymore. Still on a high from the energy over the summer it all comes crashing down when Blake Reed-her childhood bully-moves into her new town and sets his sites on her. This'll be fun right? Lets sure hope so. ➹highest rank: 62 in Teen Fiction ➹
