His talons dig into the ground as he runs, dislodging dirt and giving his followers a clear trail to follow. He's pretty sure he's lost way too many of his golden and brown feathers to be able to fly but he can't help trying, because he knew if he could attain flight, he would zip away and leave this life behind.
