Eight freinds find their selves in a apocalypse. Working together they manage to escape the heavily populated area that they lived in. They struggle to survive the war between countries and the new infection that has been spreading like wild fire. The group seeks protection, but things dont always turn out as planned. They have to deal with many struggles and arguments on the way but always manage to stay alive. Or do they?

Ailith never had the luxury of a last name. She was grateful for that, as it's a hell of a lot easier to be an assassin without a second name to be traced. Plus, she did have a flair for the dramatic, and it was rather mysterious. Her life is going fine- a bit macabre, yes- but fine all the same until a plague sweeps the kingdom, and she becomes involved in the search for the cure. Across the kingdom, revolution is budding, headed by rogue soldier Jax,who has heard rumor of an assassin who will fulfill the prophecy to end the king's reign. Just as the two are becoming a (reluctant) team, their world is upended, leaving them with a decision to shape the kingdom.
