3rd Place Winner of the 2017 Glow Awards --------- These are random entries, some are inspiring, and some tell the stories that we all feel, but never say out loud. They're kind of like poetry, but I doubt they follow any of the rules of poetry. And it's definitely not as smooth as poetry. So just random thoughts that I decided to jot down. I hope they will inspire you to make someone smile today. I hope they will inspire you to face your fears today. I hope they will inspire you to cry on someone's shoulder today. The "Read" button is squealing, please, oh please click on me. There is so much I have to say, but it's packed all away in a tiny orange box. The four letters undermine me, but what's inside definitely defines me. Inspired by: Countless songs and monologues...And of course, mah fwace Cover by: @_DEMiiGODDESS_

***WATTPAD FEATURED Nov 2017*** Penniless, hungry, and stranded at a truck stop just before Christmas, Jane Johnson has few options. So when rescue comes in the form of three Kentucky hillbilly brothers--two of them mute--she reluctantly accepts. When they hire her to paint a dilapidated nineteenth-century hotel in middle-of-nowhere Nebraska, she expects nothing more than a few days' work and a meager paycheck. Instead, as the days turn into weeks, she discovers the true renovation is taking place within the brothers--and herself. Initially drawn in by the men's unexpected kindness and droll humor, she's mystified at their reticence to discuss their past. When shocking revelations about their family entwines with her own, she questions all she knows about her history. Soon she must decide if digging for answers is worth tormenting the men who befriended her. "The Marvels of Prairie Creek" is the first installment in a romantic women's fiction serial featuring the most off-the-wall leading man you'll ever meet. If you like slow-burn romances, wry-humored men with mysterious pasts, and true-to-life characters, then you'll love Lynne Mickley's witty tale of life in a small Nebraska town. ***Iron Lace Awards 1st place winner, The Monthly Elimination Awards 1st place winner & Grand Finale winner***

Lisa and Erik Travers welcome home their father from an overseas war. Once their father is home, however, tensions grows inside the family as a mystery slowly begins to unwravel. ~~~ Lisa didn't know what woke her up. Most of the time when this happened in the middle of the night, she would check on Erik in his room, then go straight back to bed. But on her way back from her brother's room, she couldn't go back to her room. There was someone in the kitchen. During the daytime, the hallways in the Traver's house were poorly lit since they were away from the windows that faced towards the east and the west. But at night, the hallways, the foyer, every nook and cranny were dark chambers of solitude that were inhospitable to even the faintest spark of light that dared venture into the black corridors of the halls. Even though it was darker than the inside of a tin can at the bottom of a well, Lisa stalked the remaining length of the corridor that led into the kitchen. She stepped quietly and carefully, not sure whether she was right about hearing a noise or a series of noises that seemed to come from the family dining room. But then she heard it. There was someone in the kitchen. ~~~ Like what you read? If you have a few hours to yourself, then you can read it today!

In a chaotic world, where extremists persecute based on race, greed, and anyone seen as different, being a bi-racial teen who can predict a person's death by a simple touch can only lead to disaster. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Cover art made by Paintfairy * Warning, this story contains: mild cursing, and ample amounts of violence. *All photos used are not mine and were found through google. *The words used within my story, however, are mine via copyright, so use your own imagination to create your story.

'Summer Nights And Open Skies' is my first ever poetry collection, it consists of poems written from 2015. These poems are neither themed or organised according to themes. As all my poems are a reflection of my life and experiences of others, they are as raw as life itself, sometimes messy, sometimes perfect but always colourful. In the mid 1400s, chaos divided Europe into four kingdoms : "Ardimentoso". Despite their splendor, the behavior of narcissistic kings towards their queens stooped lower than squalor. In such dim times, a royal birth, whose personality held the ocean's salty breeze, the humility of sand, and the calm of the waves, promised hope. Princess Marina was born to change the ways of a world. A world, which though is unbeknownst to her, will be revealed when a green-eyed stranger crosses her path. How will things change when she meets people, who share beliefs totally opposite to hers? "Destiny has already chosen her. She has come to change the destiny of this world." Will the prophecy come true? Is this Princess Marina's El Destino? __________________________________________________________________________________ "You don't need to follow me," Marina replied irritadely to Nathan, who continued to follow her. "I need to cause, firstly, you don't know the way around. Secondly, you are the lost one here--" "How can you--" "I am not finished Princess." Marina grumpily shut her mouth. "And lastly, it's for your betterment to go back because its Alves, not your kingdom." "Alves is not for you. In fact it's not the best place for any woman," Nathan added seriously. _______________________________________ COVER CREDITS - Niranju98 --Highest rank #9 in historical fiction :) --Featured in the Wattpad Hot list. - Winner of The Purple Apple Awards 2017 in Historical fiction category. - Winner of The Glow Awards 2017 in Historical Fiction Category. - 2nd overall Award winner in the Fruit Awards 2018 - 2nd winner in Eminence Awards 2k17 in historical fiction - 2nd overall award winner in The Car Awards 2017 - 2nd winner in Ohana Awards 2018 in historical fiction category - 3rd place in The Summer Awards 2017 in the Historical fiction category. - Honorable mention in the Hopeful Award 2017 - Honorable mention I'm The Golden Award 2017 in the historical fiction category.
