This is a product of my playlist left on shuffle. Just when I thought I'll never do this haha here I am. Here are my Reign one-shots inspired by songs that I love so much. ~Reign Oneshot~ Francis lost himself in her eyes, although she never once glanced at him. Those beautiful, bright golden orbs sparkled in the cold air. Her cheeks and nose were slightly rosy compared to her gorgeous porcelain, flawless complexion.

So this story is about how Francis Valois is the king of France and was married to a noble women and had a daughter Christina. When his wife died he new he couldn't marry anybody else but Mary, Queen of scots. Francis thought that Mary was suppose to marry Lord Thomas but he was killed days before they where suppose to be wed and Francis was wed they day before she was. So will they be wed? Will Christina welcome Mary?

Mary is the Queen of Scotland, she has been in hiding at a convent since she was 8. Mary is a beautiful and mature young woman, but she is not naïve. Mary knows her fiancé, the heir to the French Throne, most likely won't want to marry her and has many mistresses. She wants her husband to love her but she will give that up if it means a safe and prosperous future for her country. But now on her 16th birthday Mary must leave her home to go to French Court in order to marry her fiancé of nearly 12 years. Francis is the heir to the French Throne, the first born son of King Henry and Queen Catherine. He enjoys his life, he gets to hunt, drink, and sleep with attractive women. While he loves to do all those things he also prepares himself to be the next great ruler on France. But he doesn't want to get married, which is an issue. He wants to be a bachelor, not tied down by anyone, he would feel immoral sleeping with other women when he had a wife. That's why he doesn't plan on getting married, not even to the girl he proposed to in gardens when they were 6.

Since Mary was a child she was destined to be the next great ruler of Scotland. Not only because of her royal birth but because her parents tragically died when she was just a baby. Mary has been raised by her grandmother at Scottish Court and groomed to be queen. Mary is kind and gentle yet strong and independent. Now it is time for her to enter a new challenge at French Court, finding a husband, even though she has a man that she loves. Francis has resented that fact that he has never lived up to his father's expectations, no matter what he does it is never enough. He is a natural leader and a good man. His whole life he watched his father cheat on his mother with every woman that came to court, he promised himself to be better than that. Francis wants to stay loyal to the woman he loves. Though now, even though he doesn't want to, he must step up to the challenge of courting a Scottish Princess.

Mary Stuart was only 16 when men who were angered with her father attacked and raped her. Her mother felt the need to tell her fiance's parents of the situation. Now Mary is going back to the French Court to get along and marry her fiance, Francis Valois. As soon as Mary enters French Court, murders happen everywhere she turns, her rapist and attackers behind it all. Mary discovers that her father had a hand in her attack by some journal entries. She must discover what his hand in the provocation of the attack was before it is too late and innocent people die. No historical accuracy. Just a spin on The TV show Reign.
