El lo prefiere así, menos molestias, simple y fácil. Pero de repente la vida ideal de Zane fue arrojada al revés cuando Bailey Schaefer se apareció. Trabajando como custodia el la universidad de Ringgold en Nueva York significa que Zane a conocido un buen número de estudiantes peculiares pero Bailey... es único en su clase y eso era diciéndolo suavemente. 'Mala suerte Bailey' es el apodo dado a Bailey desde la niñes y después de exitosamente lograr ser testigo de mas de uno de los accidentes en el que Bailey se encontraba Zane entendió por que le dieron el apodo. El Chico era un catástrofe caminando, un accidente apunto de pasar y Zane no pudo mas que ser testigo de lo gracioso que son las desgracias de Bailey. Tristemente las cosas no pasaron como el quería y pronto la vida de Bailey se encontró enredada con la de Zane Y su vida que antes era mediocre ya no era tan mediocre como antes.
