A/N: Katniss Everdeen is One of Delly Cartwright's (the slut) best friend. Delly is Katniss's Cousin. She lives with them when Prim, her sister lives with Glimmer who is their other cousin. Peeta Mellark thinks Katniss is just like Delly but really she isn't. One day Peeta and his friends go to the Hob which is a club. He hears her sing and falls in love. The same question roams through his head. Why did it have to be her?

"Will you stay with me?" He asks as if he's unsure. I look him in the eyes and kiss his hand. "Always." I whisper. Book 1 Peeta loved her first and she loved him second, or was it all just a ploy to survive? They were thrown into the games together, but only one could come out. . or so they said.
