Imagine the second you're born, a consultant removes you from your mother's grasp and runs a battery of genetic and physiological tests on you. Thirty minutes later they give you a score out of one hundred which denotes your level of perfection. If your score is above eighty and you work hard to maintain that score you will have a charmed life; well fed, well-rewarded, spoiled. But fall below eighty and you're labelled Flawed, and life will not be so kind. Hannah is adopted by a Flawed family when her birth parents choose their social standing over their daughter and endures a life of struggle, hunger and service. One day Hannah is escorted to the regional government office and told that the Consultant who delivered her, who labelled her Flawed got it wrong! Now, she is being relocated back to her birth parents, to live as one of the Ninety-Five- all medically and legally judged as perfect. Entering this new life Hannah has an impossible decision to make which puts not only hers, but the lives of everyone she cares about at great risk. The dream was all too real. The knife, my potential death, the whimsical attempt of savior of the unknow guest. My body felt real. Like bones, flesh, and feelings real. I seriously had a hard time coaching myself with lucid dreaming this time. My mind was a goner. My pulse quickened as the lady soon brought the glittering gold knife down on my chest, plunging it into my heart. I could practically feel the dagger splitting through blood and fresh as it entered my body. A loud voice cracked and shattered in the distance, with muffeled screams of agony. The guest came in soon after the lady dissapeared, crying at my bedside, while I struggled to move any part of my body. His dark hair flittered across my arms, as he wept. My eyes snapped open abruptly as grabbed the sheets of my bed, surprised not to see a dagger bulging out of my chest. ---------------- Meet Roy, a witty fourteen year old girl living an absolutely normal life. That is.... until Roy loses a special bracelet given to her by her 'father'. Soon, all heck breaks loose, involving a rabid boar, a man who spits out green venom, and don't forget deadly food! She then eventually finds herself in Camp Half- Blood with no given idea of who her father May or May not be. Now, going onto an adventure, or a 'quest' as they call them, she's doing more than she'd ever imagined.
