But what was he like before he met Silver? How did his resolve to help both Absol and humans alike emerge from his hidden hatred? For centuries, the Absol have been misunderstood and regarded as bringers of destruction with targets painted on their backs. Red was a young Absol whose birth name was Crimson, named after his unusual red colouring. He lost his parents to a group of poachers who had killed them ruthlessly before his eyes. Though his parents had taught him the importance of morals, his overwhelming feelings of sorrow combined with nasty rumours of Absol led to his thirst for vengeance. On his quest for vengeance, he mercilessly ravaged towns in search for the very same poachers who stole his parents from him. It had seemed that he was a lost cause; forever hungry for the destruction of mankind. The damage he caused was so widespread and devastating that he was nicknamed "Scarlet Havoc". However, even a flicker of light can bring a grieving Absol back to his senses. His quest did not only bring sorrow - fateful encounters had changed him, and eventually shaped him to be who he is today. This is a story of how a beast calmed into a loving creature of the crimson night, destined to be a part of the legendary Silver Warriors.

[ Second place in Pokémon Watty Awards 2016 Short Story Category. ] Absol is a rare Pokémon that lives in the mountains, away from civilisation. When it senses danger with its horn, it would leave its home to warn people of the impending doom. However, that usually leads to misunderstanding - that Absol is the cause of the disasters. Humans, being foolish and impulsive, would assume that Absol is the cause of the destruction caused to many villages. Even though Absol suffered under the impulsive nature of humans, it still leaves the mountains to warn the people - even if it meant being blamed for "causing" disasters. This is the story of a young female Absol that learnt that life is cruel and unfair but no matter what, helping others is not an option - no one deserves to suffer from dangers they do not know of. Absol saw the cruelty of humans - they murdered her mother mercilessly when she was only trying to help them. Follow Absol in her journey to help humans understand the true nature of Absol, the Disaster Pokémon.

This story that I've made is a huge collaboration of a man in VERY ancient times in a world of Pokémon, serving under a leader. Along with serving with his leader, he is accompanied by his four friends, that he has grown to bring on a brotherly/sisterly bond (Or is it?) In this story, humans are rare to find, but are very powerful, especially when chosen to become a general. Pokémon are able to live up to a thousand years, despite what the eyes may show. But when he starts to forget his past, and his parents in an event that changed this mans life, what will become of his future?
