Tylor is recruited by Monsters Inc. to be a Scarer, but when he gets there, he finds out they aren't scaring anymore, but making kids laugh. He is then brought into MIFT, a group in Monsters Inc. that repair parts of the company. Along with that, he is reunited with an old friend of his, Jamie, and they both plan to become Jokesters. Meanwhile, Sulley, Y/N, and Mike are put in charge of Monsters Inc and must make it run properly. Will they all succeed?

What looked like an attack was actually some sort of magic Ben thought, and it appeared to duplicate Ben. And then in one fell swoop, an odd-looking circle appeared around the copy of Ben, even though the two themselves couldn't tell the difference since they both had the same memories, and sent him to a world where, yes there are aliens, but none of them are what he's used too.
