Two years is a long time. Two years in space is a very long time. But two, in the hands of one's arch nemesis? Nightmare material. Pidge Gunderson, otherwise known as Katie Holt, is the pilot of the green lion. The fifth member of Voltron. The galra prisoner of two years. After two years, however, her team is finally able to locate her. Relieved after they find her, she begins to make her recovery. This is her story - the one of pain. Of loss. Of tears and crying yourself to sleep. This is the story of Family. A/N - so I'm writing this on my phone mostly, meaning there will be editing mistakes! Once I'm done with the story entirely I'll go back and fix them. Mostly stuff like Shiro and Pidge's names being corrected to stuff like Shirl and Lodge, but they're confusing all the same. An accident during a battle with the Galra results in Green get a direct hit by an ion cannon. The others aren't able to get to Pidge until they defeat the battle ships left...which took a while without the ability to form Voltron. When they finally are able to bring Pidge back to the castle, she's unresponsive for months inside the healing pod, leaving no one to pilot the green lion. No one thought it could get worse until it did when Pidge came out of the healing pod and had no memory other than of her family and herself. The paladins have to deal with her, gaining her memory back slowly. Except her memory of the blue paladin isn't being recollected and everyone worries that it'll stay that way...permanently. Takes place after some events in Season 7. The paladins are still on their way slowly back to Earth. They still have the castle but they cannot wormhole because the scaultrite lenses are all broken in the teladuv. The paladins are in their original lions(aka Allura doesn't have Blue, etc.). Magic Users and Blade Wielders coexisted together and attended one school. They still had old disagreements flowing through their blood, but that didn't stop some from befriending another student on the opposite course. It did stop Katie, though. She knew to not interfere with the petty students in the warrior course. She herself was in the Scholar Witch course. She wouldn't get along with someone so simpleminded. She did spend her time with Lance and Hunk, though. Hunk was from the Scholar Wizard course while Lance was in the Blade Warrior course. She could only handle him and his stupidity. Things were never meant to stay the same, and that's exactly what happened when a tall, broad warrior-course student paraded her life. AU! Katie "Pidge" Holt has lost both her father and he brother, leaving her with her unstable mother. She's extremely tom-boyish and intelligent- not the type boys are into. She's close friends with her coworkers, but she refuses to tell them her past.
