"Did I get little Nafasa scared?" He teased, smirking at me. Did he just call me Nafasa? "It's Nafisa," I corrected him, crossing my arms. Garrett shrugged. "Same thing, same weird foreign names." My head snapped towards his direction, angrily, as my blood boiled. "Don't you dare make fun of my name!" I couldn't believe this guy. How could people like him? He was rude, and totally disrespectful! "Oh, I'm so scared!" Garrett mocked, rolling his eyes. I glared at him, turning my head away from him, so I could no longer see his handsome yet annoying face. *** Nafisa Khan is your ordinary Pakistani-Muslim girl. He drinks and switches from girl to girl in less than a week. What will happen when the two unexpectedly encounter each other's totally different lives?

The heavy droplets of rain were slowly slipping down the hood of his leather jacket and a few effortlessly kissed his dark chocolate hair. »H…Hi.« I sputtered. »What do you have there?« He walked closer to me and gazzed into my eyes with his dark ones, that perfectly matched his hair, then lowered his sight towards the kitten, hidden under my jacket. »One lil' kitty found another.« He smirked, amused by his own joke.

"Love is..." I explored my brain to find the most suitable word in my dictionary that could fit in the definition I was trying to say; the definition that could make the jerk, sitting opposite me with a smirk on his face, believe in 'love'. "Bullshit?" He offered with a huge arrogant smirk on his face and no matter how much I agreed with him on this particular matter, I couldn't agree. So, instead of nodding my head in agreement, I scowled at him. His smirk grew bigger and he leaned away from me, gazing at me with his piercing grey eyes. "Finding it hard to make me believe in love when you yourself don't believe in that shit, huh?" With his piercing grey gaze fixed on my every move, I realized that 'being the devil's cupid' was going to be a lot tougher than I had initially thought. (By the author of 'And We Meet Again')
