'Officially Cumberbatched?' follows Rosie and Ben three years on from 'Well and truly Cumberbatched' Some things have changed; they're a little older, a lot more in love and Merlin's stronger than ever, and cuter which is easy to believe. Ben's career has skyrocketed over the years, as has his fame and likeness from fans, maybe a little too much. Rosie's getting more and more recognition for her contributions in the world of computer science, possibly changing the direction her long term plans go in. Will those plans honestly include Benedict? As much as he supports her dreams, can he truly handle her growing abilities? Will the intellect that brought them together push them apart? Could their careers finally push them further apart after begrudgingly "going the distance" when they have to, now they're busier than ever? Some things however never change. Incessant teasing from their parents, Rosie's brothers and their friends when they're affectionate to each other, Merlin's playfullness and their ability to consume wine on a regular, if not too regular basis. Everything's going well, but maybe too well. A few harsh words disguised as petty jealousy are said that has the potential to destroy everything they have, pushing their relationship on the brink of desolation. "They're just words." Or are they?
