This is the first thing i have published online since a very bad Buffy FanFic that we shall never discuss. Be gentle please? Constructive criticism appreciated, But this comes from within me, and I am going through some heavy stuff right now. It's just important for me to try, and I want this to be my first Thing. The name and some other phrases are related to a song by "The Dresden Dolls" called "Dirty Business" and has references to Amanda Palmer, one of the duo of said band, And who is my favorite person in the world. It is dedicated to her as well as two other people. This poem and the song have very different meanings and themes. The cover picture and picture at the beginning of the story are screen shots from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and I hope I am allowed to use it. I think they go well with the poems content. It's about two people who love each other very deeply, and help each other and are so present in each others lives. I wrote this in mind for an old friend, who sadly I am currently no longer talking with. I also wrote it with my Dad in my heart, who died of cancer when i was very little. I wrote this originally 2/5/2016, but have since edited it. This is about love. Not necessarily romantic love. But genuinely caring for a person with your entire being. I hope you guys like it. I love you.
