Mike Wheeler: 18 years old. Works a uninteresting job at a dive restaurant not far from his home. No more than 10 people enter the restaurant a day. But, one day, out of those slim 10 people, a familiar face stumbles through the doors.

Hawkins 1985. Lucas and Max had a strong relationship, overcoming racism and bullying. Taking care of each other, making sure none of them ever felt lonely or sad. Lucas was always there when her step dad and brother fought and Max always beat up everyone that made fun of him just because his skin color was different.
