This book is an annex (more about that in the first part). If you haven't read Book 1 of Melting the Eternal Frost, I will link both parts below. Check out and read the original light novel written by Fuse.

They say a disciple should never fall in love with their master. Respect them. Trust them. Follow them. But never love them. For Sam, that rule was broken the moment he looked into the golden eyes of the woman he admired more than anyone else-his shīfu. She was his mentor. His greatest inspiration. The one who taught him to wield his spear, to protect others, and to stand against the horrors of the Hollows. She could never be anything more. Then she betrayed him. When they were sent on a mission by Mayor Mayflower to investigate Lemnian Hollow, she left him behind to die. The woman he loved... The woman he trusted... The woman he would have given his life for... Walked away. Now living in New Eridu, Sam carries the scars of that betrayal while taking on dangerous Hollow commissions alongside proxies like Wise and Belle, whose own ties to the Hollows begin to intertwine with his search for answers. With powerful Ethereals emerging, forgotten secrets surfacing, and old bonds refusing to stay buried, he finds himself on a path that leads back to the one person he never wanted to see again. But some questions refuse to stay unanswered. Why did she abandon her him. And if she truly never cared... In a city where trust can be more dangerous than any Hollow, Sam must decide whether to seek revenge, search for the truth, or risk giving his heart to the woman who broke it. Because sometimes the deepest wound isn't the one that nearly killed you. It's the one left by the person you loved most.

Rimuru was taking a break after the entire orc invasion incident and decided to take a stroll through the forest. While walking along he runs into a monster that was run out of their home by the orcs and lost their entire family to the attack. With nowhere to call home and no family to go back to, Rimuru accepts the monster into the new and growing town as his adopted daughter. The story will follow the main story beats of the light novel, but events will be changed due to a close bond forming between Rimuru and the new monster. The bond will be explored along with the world around the two of them, giving more depth to the characters and allowing them to move outside of the main story's narrative. This is my first time writing something like this so I apologies if there are any glaring issues you may notice. With that said if you see something that could use improving, I invite you to drop a comment and let me know about it so the story can be improved for everyone. The Mature rating is mostly just to cover my bases as I don't know where things will go as the story progresses. I of course don't own "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime' so please check out the original work by Fuse.

Sigrid Kaslana was the greatest swordswoman of her world-a cheerful glutton, an incorrigibly reckless hero, and the beloved captain of the Astraea Familia. Then she was beheaded by the stolen corpse of her own mother. Instead of returning to the gods, Sigrid's soul crosses the boundary between worlds and merges with the newly forming soul of an unborn child. Reborn as the daughter of a noble family, she retains her memories, peerless combat talent, and an unusual soul containing two spiritual cores. The Voice of the World grants her the Unique Skill 『Heroic Aspirant』, but Sigrid has little interest in political marriages, noble obligations or spending her life inside a gilded cage. At eight years old, she runs away in search of the freedom to choose her own path. One month later, she meets Shizue Izawa. Under the wandering hero's guidance, Sigrid begins a new journey-one that will bring her into the lives of Hinata Sakaguchi, Yuuki Kagurazaka, Ramiris and, eventually, a peculiar slime named Rimuru Tempest. But the Central World is governed by souls, Skills and evolution. Within Sigrid sleeps an impossibility the world has never encountered. Twenty years before Rimuru's arrival, another extraordinary soul has already begun changing the course of history. This is the story of a girl given a second life-not to become a hero again, but to discover whether she can live for herself.

In the year 2022, the world's first VRMMORPG, Sword Art Online, opens its gates to ten thousand players. But when the creator, Kayaba Akihiko, removes the logout button, the fantasy world of Aincrad becomes a deadly prison where death in the game means death in reality. Among the trapped players is Sieg Kaslana, a sixteen-year-old kendo champion and former beta tester whose skill with the sword places him among the strongest in Aincrad. Calm, polite, and strangely playful, Sieg hides his kindness behind jokes about being selfish, villainous, and only acting for his own benefit. But beneath that mask is a boy carrying guilt, loneliness, and the reckless desire to conquer the world he once dreamed of living in. After crossing paths with Asuna, a proud but inexperienced fencer fighting alone in the labyrinth, Sieg's solo journey begins to change. Together, they climb Aincrad's floors, face deadly bosses, uncover hidden quests, clash with dangerous players, and slowly learn what it means to survive in a world that is both beautiful and cruel. This is the story of a boy who wanted to live in fantasy, only to discover that even dreams can bleed.

(Kiana x Caelus) When Kiana was promised that she would one day awaken from her slumber on the moon, she had expected sunlight, familiar faces and perhaps a dramatic reunion or two. She did not expect to open her eyes far beyond the solar system. Nor did she expect to be swept aboard a mysterious spacefaring train that crossed the stars, dragging her into one absurd adventure after another. Monsters, strange worlds, cosmic nonsense and questionable decisions seemed to follow wherever the Astral Express went. Then came the amnesiac with a baseball bat. Caelus was strange, reckless, oddly endearing and far too skilled at solving problems by swinging first and asking questions later. Somehow, between the chaos, confusion and occasional property damage, he managed to stir something warm in Kiana's heart. Welp, if the universe had decided to throw her into its vast unknown, then so be it. At the very least, Kiana Kaslana would make sure the stars learned exactly what a tuna could do!
