Marinette Dupain-Cheng moves to a small town outside of her home city Paris after her parents buy a bakery there to give her a semi-normal life outside of the big city where their bakery there was extremely big, giving a few shops every other block and moving out of the second shop to the one that started it all. Adrien Agreste, the son of a single farmer Mother in the small town has lived their for all his life, dreaming of moving to Paris only hours away to fulfill any dream he has, or finding the Father he knows lives there. Not because of her issues, but her father's. Turned out that for quite some time Marinette's father has had lung cancer and it wasn't noticed until now. There was no tracking on how long he had left to live, but they hoped he could surpass the illness. Turns out, he didn't. Tom Dupain-Cheng died 1 month later, causing hell for Marinette. The funeral was upsetting, with Alya,Adrien and Nino being there to support her after they heard what happened. Marinette locked herself in her room, and fell into a dark void; the abyss of nothingness. She wouldn't want to transform into Ladybug for patrols, luckily there were no Akuma attacks.She lost the glimpses of light in her eyes, the happiness in her smile and the joyful person she was. She became depressed, emotional and less confident. Every night, Marinette would take a sharp object (Usually a needle from her sewing kit) and damage herself. She would cut into her flesh, and have blood around her arm. She did this for 2 months, until an un-expecting guest arrived. Chat Noir was at the window. She wondered why he was there, but didn't bother asking. She opened the window to let him in and that's where their friendship began. Will Marinette ever become her true self again?g

Adriens growing curiosity about Marinette is starting to leave him breathless. He starts to visit her as Chat and his curiosity turns into an obsession with her. Adrien just can't seem to get enough of her. *aged up*

After what it seems like forever and many rejections, Chat Noir has finally gave up feelings for Ladybug. And now is starting to have some feelings for his classmate (Marinette.) But she has already confessed to Adrien in the past when he still liked Ladybug, so he reluctantly rejected her. But now,his heart developed feelings for her. Is it just temporary? Is it too late for him to love Marinette? Or is there a chance?

After a desperate attempt to pull herself through depression, Marinette finds herself struggling to balance being a superhero and a student at the same time. Time for some Marichat angst.

Chat Noir, is the world's best bandit, not just of his 'talent' for stealing, but for stealing the hearts of young ladies. "Stay away from him" People said. Of course, Marinette will listen, right?

Marinette has likes Adrien since the first day of school. Chat Noir has liked Ladybug since the first time they partnered up. Adrien has never shown an interest in Marinette and Ladybug has never shown interest in Chat Noir. But being Chat has opened Adriens eyes to see Marinette as the person she is.
