In which a Subway worker teaches her customer the real reason why people use condiments

It was the year 1983. Their graduation day. The day that changed the lives of two young adults. Hil - an egoist, a lady's man, thought that he already knew everything about anything. He never believed in love or anything associated with it. Until he met Emma. Emma - a bibliophile, ordinary, thought that she knew what she really wanted. She believed that things happen for a reason and longed to be a part of a happenstance. Until she met Hil. Two people, met under complicated circumstances, shared the day that they would never forget. And everything they had ever believed in and everything they had ever hoped for will change their lives forever.

Amelia had a perfect life with her mother but everything came crashing down when a car accident ended her mother's life and saved hers. Confronted by sadness and guilt, she blamed herself for the death of her mother and closed her doors to anything that could comfort her. While she was grieving, she discovered a notebook that was journal of her mother's, containing entries of thoughts and a bucket list. Amelia then had the idea to live up to her mother's wishes and decided to do the bucket list. However, one day a young man appeared to her doorsteps and alter the course of Amelia's plan to strike off her mother's bucket list.

There were three things that Dawn was certain of: 1) she's tall (she stands 5'10 which is really tall for a girl and according to her, well, she's basically a giraffe), 2) her best friend is getting married and 3) she believes that she'll never find true love. But things started to change after she spilled hot coffee to this strange man named Eric who is: 1) he's short (he stands 5'7 which is really short for a guy), 2) is actually her neighbor and 3) lost his belief in love.
