A pack with its own share of problems but one that is determined to keep him. To teach how to control his wolf before he goes insane too. Mind you, the handsome son of the pack beta flirting with him may make him go insane first. Or you know, the strange network which he has somehow got himself caught it. If he's lucky, he'll no longer have to be afraid of the moon. He may even have a new place to call home. - A spin off of a collabation story between me and a friend.

Ian Foley is not a good man. At least, that's what he thinks. He's on his way to Alaska, looking for something to save his soul. On the way, he runs into a boy in need of a savior-or at the very least, a friend. But appearances aren't everything they seem. The mysterious Sam has secrets of his own, and soon Ian realizes he's in well over his head, on a ride that's out of control. It might be just the opportunity Ian needs to prove he's changed, or it might the final thing that tips the scales towards his ultimate ruin. [This story is a spin-off of "Heart's Blood." MUST-READ THE ENTIRE BLOOD MAGIC SERIES BOOKS 1 - 9 before starting on Book 10: Beloveds' Marks Spin-Off I thought the vampire world was one of lies and deceit, taking and keeping power when you could, but I never expected the werewolf one to play dangerous games and riddles. Nothing could have prepared me for the darkest and cruelest of nights living within that forest as opposed to lavish mansions I'd grown up knowing my whole life. If it were my choice, I'd stay the rest of my life within the protective walls of the coven. It wasn't my choice. Any of it. Just like games have winners and losers, I am but a pawn trapped between the players. Do it for peace. Do what exactly for peace? Give up my freedom? What they don't understand is, I won't stay around long enough for them to use me or to figure out how to manipulate those closest to me. The fear subtly coming to the surface of their skin is becoming more obvious. A lethal poison, if you could actually call it that, taking out wolf packs one at a time. It first started with rogues, maybe someone trying to put an end to those who run away from their packs and responsibilities...an avenger of some kind perhaps? All of that changed though when an Alpha dropped dead in the middle of a training session with his pack warriors. This isn't my world, nor my problems. The two who have 'claimed' me as their mate...though they haven't marked me, are the ones trying to keep everyone safe from this unknown and unseen threat. The sad part is, I'll never feel a strong connection like the one I see them fighting toward me every day. Vampires have their beloveds. Werewolves have their mates. I've grown up with vampires, knowing how strong a connection is between their beloveds. I've never seen how truly deep a bond is between two wolves though until I saw firsthand between the ones of the Cedar Ash Pack. I'll always refer to a mated pair as beloveds...it just sounds sweeter to me, than the word...mate. (Not Edited)

Forbidden |18+ I shakily unzip the backpack and withdraw the chocolate, reaching my arm out. My voice is a little louder this time when I say, "I-I'm sorry. You just seem so...I-I don't know, I-I liked how much you were i-into the things you are studying. Your i-interests." When he doesn't take the chocolate, I also withdraw the soap and say, reaching my other arm out, "I-I don't know i-if you're upset because...well..." "Are you really taking a jab at my scent?" Ulric snarks and I swallow the fear that rises. He shakes his head and looks me over, "You are the one offending my senses." My lower lip trembles before I finally cry out, dropping the soap and chocolate on the ground. Tears are trickling down my cheeks as I retort, "This is the last time I ever try and understand a human!" Ulric's eyes widen, his muscles tensing. I turn to run though he catches my upper arm, my head snapping in his direction. He looks at me with confusion, as if I'm joking and I just realized how stupid that sounded yelling at a human and calling them that. "J-Just pretend we never met, I-I'm sorry!" I jerk my arm from his grip, seeing him still stunned with the same amount of confusion I have. "Human?" Ulric asks me, his voice a much different tone, calm, welcoming, and gentle. I brush the tears away from my cheeks as I reply, my voice steadier, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. I really was simply curious. I'm sorry, I really am." He tilts his head to the side, slowly releasing my upper arm while he crouches down and picks up my apology. Ulric glances at me and asks, "Soap and chocolate?" "Soap and chocolate," I nod my head gently with sincerity. It's a few minutes before he nods his head and says, "Come on, let's go inside together."
