You've heard the story of Cinderella-- how she conquered the odds, danced at the ball, and married the prince. That's mostly accurate, except for the part about marrying the prince. This story is not about Cinderella. It's about her ugly stepsister, Thisbe, who also conquered the odds and danced at the ball. And if you want to find out who actually married the prince... well, you'll have to read the story. Trigger warnings: Child abuse and mentions of suicide.
