Larry and Laurent Bourgeois, a married couple, have been very happy for the most part. However Laurent, an attorney with the most successful firm in Paris, has increasingly long nights at the office the more his firm grows leaving Larry feeling as though Laurent values his job more than their marriage and they begin drifting apart. Larry meets a friend of a friend and as he and Laurent continue to have issues he finds himself turning to this friend for comfort and they appear to becoming close...but how close is too close? "Zaria." I scowl as she just continues to walk, the natural sway of her sexy hips really getting to me. This girl is infuriating. The most stubborn person I've ever meant. I apologized long ago, she's just doing this now to tease me. To mess up my head. "Zaria, I'm not fucking playing. Turn you sexy ass back around, I was NOT done talking to you!" I say softening my voice, grabbing her arm. She loves when I talk all softly to her, she's never said it out loud but it's pretty obvious. Her eye twitches. "What the hell do you want, Laurent? Geez, isn't it clear that I don't want anything to do with you anymore? And you made it clear a long time ago that I'm nothing to you but a stupid-" My scowl deepens and I cut her off immediately saying, "I was 13, belle! What do you want me to do, rewind time?" She scowls right back, snatching her arm away. "No, I want you to leave me alone. You didn't have a problem doing so before." She spits that last part, turning on her heels. "But........but I love you. I love you so much, belle." I say it in a whisper. But I can tell that she heard, because she stops and freezes. I grit my teeth upsetly. "Don't walk away from me, Zaria. I need you.......and I know that I fucked up in the past but I need you so fucking much. Give me a chance to make things right between us." She turns again, but not quick enough. I see the tears in her eyes. I can't do anything but sit there and watch helplessly as she runs away. Away from the man who broke her.
