His voice was soft, but you knew better. God, you knew better. "I'm keeping you safe..." he murmured. "You make me feel ... like I'm getting better." "You'll be safe if you just stay with me..." Authors note: Chapters are written in long format, meaning this is going to read far more as a book. I update as much as I have time for, but in saying this, lots of editing and re-writing occurs and takes time. I take care in this story as it means a lot to me as a passion project and want it to be something I can be proud of.
