Marinette's class got chosen to go to England and stay in the palace with THE Queen for a whole year. The reason? Her class won an acting competition. The competition required each class to make a play about what they think Ladybug and Chat Noir's daily life would be like. Mr. Adrien Agreste got the role of Chat Noir. Marinette Dupain-Cheng got the role as Ladybug. Chloé, being the mean snobby brat she was, tried to protest that she was a better Ladybug but got declined by the teachers thankfully. Marinette is the princess of china but her and her family had to move to France when she was little because her uncle Sebastian (mothers brother) wanted the throne all to himself. He drove them away with threats so they went in hiding and 13 years later Marinette and her class have to go to china for a field trip the same time Marinette has to go back to get her throne back.
