The former Putnam County spellers have undeniably grown up, but at last, their past has caught up with them. That makes it sound so serious; it's just a bit of heartfelt fluff with some drama that seems fitting for the characters. Enjoy!

They said that the end of the world would come from global warming. Wrong. They said God would send an asteroid. Nope. They said that it would be a nuclear apocalypse. It was. But not the one you might expect. WW1 was eight years. WW2 was six years. WW0 was seven days. It only took a week for Gordon Vance, the dictator of America, Lafayette the Third, the dictator of France, Hans Heinrich, dictator of Germany, and Sasha Petrov, the dictator of Russia, to get angry enough to send nuclear-powered super soldiers out to kill each other. Fast forward two years to 2053, where 98% of the human population is dead. Our only hope is a mad scientist that was just captured by raiders and is probably dead, so naturally, that's my plan for today. Life really sucks sometimes.
