Beatrix and Daryl had never met before. In fact, they lived two completely different lives. Beatrix lived in the city, right beside of the hospital, which is where she spent most of her time. Her favorite thing to do at work-besides work, of course-was to talk to her patients and the nurses. She had never been in trouble a day in her life. She had a perfect record, not even being stained with as little as a speeding ticket. Daryl lived in a secluded cabin, at least three miles away from any civilization. The only time he ever talked to anybody was when he was forced to at work. He was constantly in and out of jail, mostly taking the blame for his older brother, but nobody knew that except for him. He destroyed the name Dixon. You couldn't have picked two people that were more different. What happens when the apocalypse brings them together? Will they ever be able to be together? Melody Grimes, the one person at camp that Daryl actually didn't hate. It was shocking, a Dixon showing a little bit of feeling towards someone. Although, he didn't show it much, he kept it bottled up just like a Dixon would. Melody felt empty, the only anchor she ever had was her brother, who was dead and gone. Hopefully she'll find her anchor where someone else was looking, maybe they could be each others anchors.

It's hard to survive a world where everything wants to kill you. Every corner you turn, every decision you make, and every breath taken. There's always something lurking, something craving to end your life. But when the world absolutely goes to complete shit, what can you expect?

Fear. It came when the dead began to roam the streets and cities, but for Scarlett Evans it was always there. How people would react if they knew and the fear of becoming like the monsters who made her the way she is. But no one would see it, she wouldn't let anyone close enough.
