She has no money, no shelter, and hardly any food or clothes. She is a peasant among the people, but would anyone help her? Saved by a strikingly handsome Native American, he sympathizes with her and lets the young woman live with him until she is able to work again, save up money, and live on her own once more. She has mixed feelings when he is around her. All her life she's been told that the Natives are tricksters, heathens, and vulgar, but this man was quite the opposite. Should she trust him, or should she be skeptical? Tensions build up between the two eventually. Will she be kicked out into the wild frontier again? Recommended age: 16 and up. Warning: This fanfiction will have explicit chapters that may be uncomfortable to certain people. Read at your own comfort.
