COMPLETE #1 in Fantasy #1 in Adventure #1 in Historical Fiction ---------- Sometimes, believing helps us to see truth. Other times, we need a little evidence to believe. But there is truth behind everything; every false manoeuvre, ever little lie...a small piece of truth is hidden. Just like truth is wound into legends too. Growing up best friend to the future King, Arabelle never really thought her life could go wrong. Whenever she wanted something, or needed something, she would get it. Then she lost her father at a young age and Arabelle was forced into a world of dresses, balls, and lies. Being a tomboy, Arabelle would have rather been out on her horse doing archery practice with her brothers. When Arabelle gets curious and sneaks into a forbidden area of the castle, she discovers a deadly secret: her bloodline is sacred, dating back to a legend surrounded by the one thing she knows not to be true. Unsure what to do, she gets caught up in a series of events that lead to her being hidden and whisked away from the only familiar place she knew. After making some unlikely allies, Arabelle sets off on a journey to find the legend of the last dragon egg. Fate has something big in store for her; will she be able to withstand the pressure of it all? There is one thing Arabelle needs to learn to survive this new place... Some things are more than a legend. ---------- © Isabella Espe 2013 - 2019 This is a work of fiction. After a late night fight between Alex Summers and her ex goes terribly wrong, her parents ship her off to spend a stress-free summer in Los Angeles. But the second she steps off the plane, Alex stumbles into California bad boy Elias King, a too-hot-to-handle heartbreaker with a taste for trouble. ***** When Alex and Elias find themselves stuck living under the same roof, their sexual tension's undeniable, but their differences set them on a warpath to destroy each other. Elias bets he can steal her heart and seduce her in thirty days, while Alex swears she can keep him one-night-stand-free and have him sober by the end of the summer. This isn't your typical 'big' girl story when the female has thick thighs, slim stomach, and a phat ass. No this is a story about a real big girl the type no one usually give a second look because her stomach hangs over her jeans, and her thighs rub together, her arms jiggles when it moves, and even her back has rolls. Yeah, disgusting right? Well that's me Harper. And I'm going to show you a real life story of a big girl...mine. I guess I can call you guys my diary? I'm going to tell you guys that I've never told anyone including my mother. Like whose the real father of my four year old daughter, and why. My life has always been a struggle. My mom was a single mom raising me and my younger brother, and sister for as long as I could remember. Until suddenly she was married to my step father Eli. Once they got married things became easier from the fact two incomes were coming in, and we weren't sleeping on our cousins floor. I think that's enough information for now. While here it goes ... Based on true events. Ranked number 23 in short story :)

"They're cinnamon with apple Jam. I do promise they are to die for." The taller mans eyes narrowed, "did you give the poor fool dead on the road a cookie?" My lips parted, "a dead man? Oh my..do you think it is safe?" "..depends on who you are miss, why did you say you were in the woods again?" I smiled gently, "I didn't." He rose a brow. "I'm delivering these," I shook the basket a bit, "to my dearest grandmama." He hesitated for only a slight second, "oh. well. be careful then. These woods can be dangerous." I nodded once still holding out the basket, "so would you?" "Would we what?" I giggle a bit, "like a cookie silly." "Ah.." he scratched the back of his head, "sorry, I'm not too fond of apples." Damn it. I sighed softly, "strawberry next time then." "Right..." As I turned to go I looked up at the two tall men, "you be careful now too gentleman. There are wolves in these woods." They nodded rigidly as I spun and began to skip off, giggling to myself. He asked the wrong question. I didn't give the dead fool a cookie. I gave him two.
