Daniel Peybroke was a self centered man who only wanted money in life. Amber was his free spirited eight year old daughter who loved to read. Amber's mother died while giving birth. Daniel had always blamed Amber for this and tortured her day after day, year after year. Until, her outlook on life became too much for him to deal with. So he killed her. He was a strange man, so took her eyeballs as a trophy of this new... accomplishment. But now, Amber isn't a happy little girl, she's a dead girl out for revenge. Anyone who steps foot into her house, she hears and kills. Starting with her father.

The way she looked at him made him feel uneasy. It was like she thought he was the caged one... Like she was the boss. He shook himself and walked to the next cage. Authors Note: I got the idea for this story from KellBelle333's book of story prompts

Basically this is where I am going to publish a ton of my short stories :)

Bella is labeled insane. She's 12 years old and in a mental asylum. She was once sane, many years ago... But that was before the crash that took her parents lives. She knew they were dead before anyone told her. No one knows how, she just did. She woke up and said Mummy and Daddy go crash in car. She was 4. She was passed around foster homes and eventually put into an asylum at the age of 10. Bella doesn't believe she's the crazy one, and no one can blame her. After all, for as long as she can remember she's seen ghosts and heard voices. It just seems normal to her. Everyone still thinks she's crazy, but they have no proof. In fact, a wise person may say that she is truly fine in the head, she just has a special gift. A special gift everyone else thinks of as insanity.
