Percy has been through a lot, being kidnapped, having his memory wiped, several battles, two wars. He does not need anything else to happen. He stood on the balcony, watching the city below. His trained eyes flickered from one event to the next; the angry cabbie shouting for the traffic to move; the dog walking their owner along the streets; the father trying to keep his children in arm's reach. He sighed, rubbing his hands on his arms. He saw no real threats, no monsters in the shadows and no waiting traps. It was normal. If only he could be too. 17 year old Percy returns from defeating Gaea, Annabeth died leaving a heart-broken demigod who leaves camp. He goes to his mothers place and spends two days there, when he finds a note when he returned from school...he walks to the bedroom and gasps, crying silently. His mother and Paul are dead in bed. Percy goes to the phone to report it to the police. They find out that Percy has an uncle, names Tony Stark, an annoying person who loves attention. How will Percy put up with the new found fame and depression. While fury is keeping a eye on Percy, Thantos(Gaea) is rising for revenge. Will the Avengers need Percys help. Note: I made this on December 9th and is still working on it but please enjoy I am loving this. I get to express my creativity to those who will read it and hopefully enjoy it. Everything's different now, after the Giant War. So even after arriving home Percy can't tell anyone the truth; not his mom, not his new, rather odd, neighbor, not the friends that he's afraid to be close to. But the truth always hurts and somehow, the truth always shows. Maybe it's a good thing that his new neighbor, Peter Parker, is just a little too observant. Or maybe it isn't. Meanwhile the world is changing. New threats have risen and been defeated. But people are disappearing, people are dying. And even the people who are supposed to be heroes can't stop this. But that's sort of the point. Now though the darkness which Peter has always managed to keep at an arm's length is right outside his front door. Right inside it. Peter can't lose anyone else. Percy can't lose anyone else. Both are sure that if they do they're bound to lose themselves. Now though loss isn't and if but a when. Not a when but how much. Neither of them plan on getting out of this one. Both are sure that there must be someone at fault. But innocence and guilt mean nothing in this blame game, because with all this hurt, with all this death, with all this pain, isn't everyone somehow to blame? And maybe they aren't so different, Peter and Percy. Maybe they can find a way to work together, fight together, stop this together. Maybe together they can find a way to get out of this one, find a way to save even those who don't want to be saved. Or maybe they can't.
