As Dwarves, loyalty is something that we take very seriously. Our fathers were close friends - almost brothers - and with a love and loyalty such as their's, I made a promise to Kili, my best friend. That was 45 years ago. And now we're all grown up; Kili is a soldier rallying with his brother Fili and uncle Thorin, and I am a married woman. But why now, after all these years, are my promises finally being stretched to the ultimate test?
