A 17 year old girl named Vera comes into contact with this ghost-boy, and attempts to understand what is going on and how it's going on. It's not as easy as she thought. John's still in South Carolina, redefining bravery, but Alex goes with him. When Laurens is struck down in battle, his good friend Alex is there to save him, and maybe, they can become more than friends. But just you wait, just you wait. The beginnings 's a little rocky and has some typos I can't be bothered to fix, and the time period doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but apparently people like it so I keep writing it. Enjoy!
