Ariella is an awesome detective. She's strong, and effective; does her job well. She is one of Chief Detective Somer's most valuable and powerful assets, but that's because she has a special talent. Ariella's special talent is her most feared curse, and her darkest secret. Only a small number of Ariella's closest friend know her secret, because her secret could get people killed. Ariella doesn't know it yet, but soon she will find out that there is nothing in her world that will stop her from protecting the people she loves...not even her secret. (What I have posted here is the first draft of what I have written so far. Mostly I am looking for some creative criticism. I am going to add my own illustrations, but until then I have borrowed some images of what I am imagining to illustrate the most important point in each of the chapters.
