My next words are barely a whisper on my lips, though I know she hears me. "Kari Asti?" She seems to consider something a moment, then as if she's decided, she sighs and returns her swords to their sheaths, offering a smile from beneath the metal half mask obscuring her eyes and nose. "Hello, Loki." 〰〰〰〰 Kari Asti has been a Valkyrie all her life. She has always known what her destiny is. Until it all changes in a few moments and un-Valkyrie-like battle maneuvers. Loki Odinson has been in love all his life with the girl who laughed at all of his jokes, and played with him when she knew she'd be in big trouble for it. But when he finally sees her again, will she remember the fun they'd had, or will she reject him? Loosely based on Nordic mythology, Loki and Kari Asti have danced around their feelings for each other long enough. When a choice to save the world or risk their love arrises, will they stay together, or let their feelings go to Valhalla once and for all?
