When May opened her eyes, she found herself clinging to the body of Evangeline Amelia Alcmene, the daughter of a duke who also happens to be one of the three main characters in an unfinished novel she was reading before she had died. You might be thinking, she reincarnated as one of the main characters, isn't that great? NO! Absolutely not! Just because she's a main character, doesn't mean she has good qualities! Evangeline was portrayed as an extremely cowardly and selfish person, only thinking about her own convenience throughout the entire novel. During the climax scene, she even ran away with her tail between her legs and because of this, the male lead ended up sacrificing himself for her. In a novel world where she is the only one who knows the identity of the hidden villain, Evangeline now faces a ticking time bomb where the apocalypse will occur in the near future. Stepping up to the plate, May, who is now Evangeline, has no choice but to undertake the role of the saviour. The useless and cowardly duke's daughter? Hah! She doesn't exist anymore. The end was upon him, and he knew it. However, he remained strong in his job and continued to bury the fallen. When given another chance, he took it against his better judgement, sending him into a whole new world. He was reborn into a new world as the son of a grave digger. He despises the job, remembering little bits and pieces from his first world. Nevertheless, he loves his new family remains happy with them his first few years of life. Then, war starts. Horrible memories of war come back to his mind, all from his first life. He shared his concerns with the doctor, but he said they were mere fantasies. He wasn't put at ease, especially not when he was shaken awake in the middle of the night and told to run. He ran for the nearby forest and hid away under a bush. Men and women that could jump from tree to tree came down and ran toward his house. His father yelled, his mother screamed, and the people breathed fire that consumed his home. Left with nowhere to go, he began to wander around the forest until collapsing on the verge of death. So much for his new fate. Then, someone poked him with a stick.

She travels around Hyrule learning how to survive in this new world and somehow ends up helping with the calamity. She has the knowledge of the events of botw And totk along with the other Zelda games but ends up in the era of the calamity 100 years ago btw. Despite all of her efforts to save Hyrule and her friends she has a choice.
