"No?" Rarilee repeated, confusion dripping from the word. "No, because boys never understand. They just don't have the knowledge or devotion to help you in any way, especially in your situation." Aspiring chef artist and sixteen year old Rarilee Blaze Tolonez was the old-schooled daughter of a compassionate mother and a hardworking father. She stood on her own two feet, and with the help of her melodramatic lawyer-to-be best friend, her life resembled a comfortable normality. This is, of course, before the heavens decide to strike their most dangerous, powerful source directly onto her innocence, almost taking the life out of her. Normality takes a sharp turn into insanity. No matter how many times the doctors and nurses reiterate that she is in good condition, Rarilee cannot ignore the uneasiness in her gut and the severe pain in her scarred temples. She cannot seem to trust her own conscience either, and the screaming voices shadowing her do nothing but intensify the conflicting burden. But what Rarilee does not seem to understand is that there is only one person in the entire human race that can save her from the extremes. The only one that can cure her from the confusion and the pain. And that was him. #984 in Mystery / Thriller Firestorm © whattafangurl 2015 All rights reserved.

"I am made up of nothing but deceits and untruthfulness." I never exactly knew what my father meant by The Opposite. It was a two-word phrase that he would consistently use as a form of correlation to assist me in the struggles I had thought of to be disastrous and world-ending, such as popular trends and the secrets of adolescence. Maybe he had wanted me to naturally isolate myself from the overrated crowds of popularity, or maybe he had wanted me to be cautious with who I befriended and trusted wholeheartedly, which had resulted into me establishing a sibling-like relationship with Marcus Green and Ned Morgans. Maybe he had wanted me to constantly and explicitly empty out my stomach contents, or maybe he had wanted me to loathe every flaw visible to the naked eye on my physical appearance.... Because that is specifically what I have become over the past three years. #741 in Teen Fiction The Opposite © whattafangurl 2015 All rights reserved.
