One girl, haunted by demons she never asked for. One girl, holding onto a dream with bleeding hands. One girl, clinging to a life she never was supposed to survive. One girl-and one infuriating woman she was never meant to meet. Aurora Winters, 18, soft-spoken and sweet like spring rain, begins her second last first day of senior year. The wreckage of a car crash last Christmas stole what little safety she had left-leaving her in the bitter care of an aunt who never wanted her and a man who only knows cruelty. Bruised, quiet, alone and unraveling, Aurora is trying to survive the storm. But survival becomes complicated when a certain woman enters the picture. Valentina M. Harlow, 37, new to this part of town, new to the school, old to the weight of the world. Once a sweet girl who ached to be seen, now a woman shaped by silence and cold resolve. Sharp-tongued, guarded, emotionally untouchable, manipulative and entirely disinterested in attachments. She is the oldest daughter who walked away-from blood and businesses, from love, from everything that broke her. It's been seven years since she last let herself feel. And she likes it that way. Until Aurora. What begins as uneasy glances and sharp conversations becomes something far harder to ignore. Valentina sees the pain in the girl's eyes. The bruises beneath the surface. And suddenly, the woman who feels nothing is faced with a choice: walk away as she always has, or reach out-risking everything. This is a tale of longing and danger, where hearts shatter, wounds heal, and reopen. Again and again. A story of two women who were never meant to orbit, yet crash into each other anyway. A story of it all. Of longing that feels like ruin. Of aching that feels like home. Of broken things that refuse to stay broken. A slow unraveling, a dangerous pull. A love that could save-or destroy-them both. Maybe they'll piece themselves back together. And set the world on fire, together.

Just as Annabeth's hands reached to grab the back of her jacket, Sonya pivoted smoothly, one arm coiling around Annabeth's waist like a whip. There was a sharp gasp-Annabeth's-and then her spine slammed against the edge of the bar, the breath knocked clean from her chest. Sonya's forearm pressed hard across her collarbone, pinning her in place with infuriating ease. "If you wanted my attention, sugar, all you had to do was ask," Sonya murmured, her voice sultry and rough, lips inches from Annabeth's. "Get off me," Annabeth snarled, squirming beneath her hold. Sonya arched a brow, leaning in even closer until her body molded against the younger woman's-thigh to thigh, hip to hip. "You're feistier than the girls next door," she whispered against the shell of Annabeth's ear, her breath hot. "Careful now, Anna. I've always had a thing for resistance." Annabeth jerked against her, face twisting in rage. "Let. Me. Go. You stink of whiskey and whores," she spat, kicking against Sonya's shin. Sonya didn't flinch. "Say please," she drawled, her voice silk and steel, utterly unbothered. "Manners go a long way in this town." "Never," Annabeth hissed.

I was too young to remember when the world finally fell. I grew up out here, living off the wilderness and content to survive the rest of my life in solace. Don't get me wrong, it was dangerous. It is dangerous for a woman to be alone out here. I never needed anyone. Until my little woodland paradise was torn down, and I was chased out of it, right into the arms of the three women I'd worked my hardest to avoid crossing paths with. The Savage Sisters. Aka: Sable Savage. Arielle Davenport. And Lucille Winter. Not related by blood, but bound by it all the same. Beautiful, terrible, and ferocious, they traversed the ruined cities like wriaths, cutting down all who oppose them. I knew I was a gonner the second I slammed into Sable's back, and ended up on my own half a second later. Yeah, buckle up, because this is fixing to be a wild ride. !! THIS BOOK CONTAINS MATERIAL PROBABLY NOT SUITABLE FOR INDIVIDUALS UNDER THE AGE OF 16 !!

When 𝐌𝐢𝐚 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 has to move back to Cedarsville, the perfect, glittering village of her childhood, she expects to pick up right where she left off: rich, admired, untouchable. But Cedarsville remembers, and so does 𝐀𝐮𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐤. Once, they were inseparable: two girls building worlds in a treehouse, dreaming about forever. Until Aubrey kissed her, and Mia called it gross, and everything broke. Mia's family whisked her away to England. Aubrey stayed behind to become the outcast everyone whispered about. Now, six years later, Mia's back. Aubrey's still the same: clever, sharp, a little desperate to be seen, and Mia's still pretending she feels nothing at all. It's not a love story. It's obsession, humiliation, revenge, and the kind of attention that burns more than it heals. They destroy each other slowly, intimately.
Because somewhere deep down, they both think it's what they deserve.

Alexandria Evergreen, a bored heiress to her dearest father's hotel empire with a penchant for justice on her own terms and too much time on her hands, lives a life of luxury and moral ambiguity. Behind her poised façade lies a dangerous secret: she quite enjoys seeing the life leave the eyes of abusive and perverted men - and the occasional woman - who believe themselves untouchable, operating in the shadows of high society. Clarke Griffin, a struggling law student in her final year, is barely holding her life together. Clarke has just landed an internship at a prestigious law firm, a position she fought hard for. Now all she wants is to graduate, pass the bar exam, and start building her career, following in the footsteps of her late father. From the moment Alexandria lays eyes on a stunning Clarke, she's obsessed. What could possibly go wrong when one is morally grey at best, entirely unhinged and a walking red flag at worst and the other embodies everything Alexandria isn't - pure, principled, and committed to the legal system? I'll be putting trigger warnings below, and I will add to the list as new potential triggers become relevant in the story. Always feel free to let me know if I have missed any. TW: Strong language, blood and gore, murder, sexual content, mature themes, violence, mentions of abuse (of all kinds), sexism, torture, mention of drugs, mention of suicide, absolute toxic, obsessive, and unhinged behavior.

"You cannot be serious. You can't make me - us do this!" Lexa exclaims. That wasn't quite true and Lexa knew it. They could make her do whatever they wanted as long as it was legal. It did not need to be moral. That's something that was Lexa's own fault. She had signed her life away for the second time in her twenty-seven years of existing, making just that possible. "Oh, come on, sweetheart, don't hurt my feelings now. Dating me wouldn't be that bad. I am a great girlfriend," Clarke responds instantly, sounding genuinely offended, a little hurt, and definitely mocking. "Actually, you'll find that we can make you do this and much more. I can hand you the contract you signed of your own volition if you'd like to confirm," the producer says seriously. And there it was. Lexa resented that she had already thought of that little fact, but no matter her feelings about it, she'd have to do it regardless. "Besides, this will help both of you boost your odds of staying in The Tower. The viewers have been going wild for you two online after your last challenge." Everyone who had been selected to participate in The Commander's Tower had their own reasons for being there. Some were more honest about those reasons than others. But it all came down to one thing: the money. -- As per always, I will be putting trigger warnings below, and I will add to the list as new potential triggers become relevant to the story. Always feel free to let me know if I have missed any. TW: Strong language, mentions of substance abuse, PTSD, chronic pain, survivor's guilt, strong language, sexual content.
