In a politically volatile kingdom, Noah is tasked with finding the catalyst, a magical artifact rumored to greatly enhance the potential of the wielder. Joining his efforts are his childhood best friend and an illegitimate prince doing the queen's bidding in exchange for his lover's freedom. It soon becomes clear that many different parties are after the catalyst, though no one seems to know who started this chase or why. In order to survive and save the people he cares about, Noah will have to leave behind everything he thought he knew about magic and adapt to a new reality of unlikely alliances and painful betrayals, high-stakes power struggles, and vengeful entities.

[Wattys2018 Shortlist] [Bootcamp Mentorship Mentee 2020] [Insidious Awards - 1st place/Action/Adventure] "Squinty, I... Help me! Please! You have to help me!" Squinty huffed at him as the horse might snort at an annoying fly it couldn't get rid of. "A...a... an apple," he stammered. "I just... stole an apple!" ---- When water is controlled by those in power, even a mere apple can be a catalyst. For Squinty, it was the start of everything. Finding Grizzly. Losing Roko. Becoming a Vigil. Discovering she had the power to become invisible. For Nalina, the threat of a new Water War was even closer to home; her beloved brother was the one initiating it. To Drian, water formed the core of his belief system, defined who was - and was not - worthy, and justified the treatment of the underground-dwelling Wellers. An orphan girl, determined to do what was right. A princess, petitioning for peace. An abbot, torn between his religion, and his experience. Each with an Etching, a unique power that surely makes them special; a tie to something more, something extra, something beyond the Squareworld. Credits for the cover go to an absolutely amazing cover artist and fellow writer Narcisse Navarre @InkSorcery. The Prophecy of Water is ONLY available on Wattpad. This book is a collection of numerous short stories I have created, both mini and midi ones, written in the period of the past twenty years. Some of them are award-winning entries in various micronarrative competitions. Others were adapted with the usage of audio and video stimuli thus creating something akin to hyperliterature. The book cover was done by a Wattpad user and a friend, @AWFrasier. Thank you for designing my cover (again! :)) and at such a lightning speed! Tiny Tales is ONLY available on Wattpad.
