James Madison is roommates with Alexander Hamilton at kings college. This is how he meets Thomas Jefferson, who would later be the love of his life.

Thomas was amazing, interesting, and charismatic. James was definitely the opposite of all of those. Having been friends for a while now, James still doesn't understand how someone like Thomas would want to be around him. James feels a great love for Thomas, but understands he will never deserve someone so perfect. ~~~ So I intended this to be like...a bunch of cute events happening that eventually segway into the whole letter thing, but clearly that idea was thrown out the window.
