6 years have passed for Leo. A 22 year old man that has no idea what his future has in store for him. He has just returned from Japan to a town that he nearly grew up in. At first he suffers a memory loss, but soon remembers everything. He slowly digs his own grave with every move he makes.

The spaces in between is about a group of teens that are put into a Scientific Research Facility known as the Burning Heart. The story focuses on the feelings that develop between two individuals as they try to escape there demise. The reason the Teens are there is because of there special abilities and or other reasons. It puts you in the mind of Loki Takisu and Naomi Haiyata.
