Johnny Toast has a new girlfriend, leaving Johnny Ghost alone. Their friendship is slowly breaking, and they hardly talk to each other anymore. When one day, Toast shows up on Ghost's doorstep with tears in his eyes over his recent breakup, a new friendship blossoms. What will happen when these two open a paranormal investigating business? Can't write about Johnny Ghost and not be edgy. The book cover is only temporary until I make one. I do not own the art in the cover, and I'm not sure who made it, but I claim no credit for it. P.I.E never has normal cases, sure, but one case is unusually on the odd side. When Johnny Ghost and Johnny Toast get called to an investigation on the edge of the state, the lives of the paranormal investigators are changed for the worse. I'd like to credit Twilight Nova on the VenturianTale Amino for basically writing half of this story! I was inspired after a roleplay thing we did! Sue was dying from a 2 inch drop fall. Maxwell was robbing banks, Aimee was fantasizing about Ghost, Prince Fang was plotting in the 13th dimension. Toilet Toucher was touching toilets, Cardboard Friend was haunting houses, looking for 'Gregory'. Gavin was making illegal money as usual. Toast was out drinking. It seemed like life for Ghost was just fine. Nothing too major was going on. But, all that was about to change, when Ghost was emailed a video by an anonymous person... One that will turn his life upside down. And not in a good way. --- A friend of mine (Author-Chan11 on here and deviantart) asked to do a rp (roleplay) in story mode. Johnny Ghost is tired of putting up with his murderous alter ego, Jimmy Casket. One day, a mysterious doctor offers to separate the two personalities​ via a strange operation. The operation is a success, and Ghost is able to live freely from Jimmy, and vice versa. However, a strange pain starts to come over both Ghost and Jimmy. What will become of Johnny and Jimmy or of P.I.E?

When Fred Spooker tells Johnny Ghost and Johnny Toast of P.I.E. about some recent strange murders that have taken place nearby the couples apartment, the two do some investigating, and begin to suspect something paranormal at hand here. Meanwhile, Johnny Ghost has been noticing some strange things going on. A few times during the last few weeks, he has found himself forgetting what he was just doing, and losing bits of his memory in strange blackouts.
