Run. That's what they told, no, ordered her to do. They held the weapons, she held nothing. She was a mere slip of a girl, but they had no clue who she was, or anything about her, except that she was unarmed and no match for them. An easy chase to help work up an appetite, right? But they hadn't expected her to be Fast. *** Amber wobbled. Time seemed to slow down as he started to turn towards her. She wobbled again, when, with a large CRASH, the crate broke, and Amber fell on top of him. "Oof!" The assassin acted instinctively. As she fell, he rapidly turned around, grabbed her wrists, and caught her. *** Warning: some strange humour, some flirtation, and violence. Swearing has been adapted. Set in some sort of fantasy steampunk version of the 17th century in a country(City?) named Moglux, (NOT EARTH) We follow our main heroine as she struggles within herself, sharing the exact same space with another called Raven, encounters horrifying murders, suitors who just can't take a hint, meets an underground force called the Raiders who have taken an interest in her and tries to untangle the confusion layer of society which calls themselves Nobility. A/N: I'm using part of a story I wrote a while back, and expanding on it. I'm not entirely sure where I'm going with this, although I have a vague idea. Chapterlengths will vary strongly at times, (but with good reason), but generally I write 1000+ words, the POV will probably switch here and there. Enjoy!I do my best to work on it whenever able Don't be afraid to comment, vote on anything you enjoy, and, as always, Happy Reading! Special thanks to @vevlvn for the AMAZING cover :3

nico's a demon, will's an angel, and they fall in love during a war. what could possibly go wrong? intentional lowercase for the description; the actual fic has proper capitalization. the writing is pretty bad and the plot is all over the place but it's cutesy sometimes so knock yourselves out. if swearing bothers you, skip the author's notes because i swear sometimes. the actual fic has no strong language.

a cute boy moves in next door to nico, who's too much of an introvert to give a fuck. somehow, he falls in love anyway. turkish translation by the wonderful disolace: http://my.w.tt/UiNb/imTJxepKdC some info you should know: this part is lowercase intended. the actual story is NOT lowercase only. if swearing bothers you, not reading this fic would be good. trigger warnings at the beginning of chapters when necessary.

"They call him The Storm for a reason. He's Jackson Storm, you should be running in the other direction." I shook my head. "I'm going to catch that arrogant bastard. I'm going to catch 'The Storm'." *** Jackson Storm. If you were to look up that name you wouldn't find anything. At least, not anything incriminating. The police have been after him for years with no luck of ever finding any evidence to put this guy away. He's a professional at what he does, and he's a conman. Jackson Storm can be anybody you want him to be. He can become a person you'd trust your life with, or a person who can make your life a living hell on earth. He's sexy. He's confident. He's charismatic. This is the guy you'd bring home to introduce to your parents. Unfortunately for anyone who's not a friend to him and who just so happens to be filthy rich, he's your worst nightmare. When he gets it in his head to con one of the richest families in the world out of millions of dollars, he's all too eager to get the job done. And he knows his best bet at successfully pulling off the con is the daughter of that family. Crystal Carver is the picture of perfect. Her father's a big hotshot CEO, and her mother is a highly successful movie actress and model, but her parents have darker pasts than she's aware. Crystal herself is a model and portrayed as a real-life Barbie Doll. Always wearing the latest styles, always wearing the most expensive jewelry. She's Daddy's little princess. No one dares to tell this girl no to anything. Unfortunately for her, Jackson sees her as his ticket to stealing millions from her and her family. Charming her won't be a problem, and he's actually looking forward to it. This job would be just like any other he's pulled off except for the added bonus of seducing one of the 'hottest' girls in the world according to all the magazines. But the greatest conman of all makes his biggest mistake... He judged the book by its cover, and he ended up conning the wrong girl...

My eyes were literally glowing, there was no mistaking it. It was not a reflection of light, or any of the other excuses I had used or others had assumed. They were glowing a light sapphire blue color. It was not a bright glow, but it was definitely a glow. Glowing eyes were not normal. Okay, at this point I had to admit it, I was no longer normal. Rachel, a junior assistant in the cargo bay, wasn't prepared for the spaceship's AI to gain awareness during what should have been a routine update, nor had anyone expected it to take exception to the crew and the crates of illegal cargo aboard. Rachel races against time to try and get life-saving systems back online while stranded in the middle of deep space. Unfortunately for her, the AI can access every system, door, and airlock. As truths emerge, the AI realizes that even computers can make miscalculations, and it focuses on the young woman who had dared to confront it. Rachel is left floundering when the AI decides that she would make an excellent captain, albeit one in need of training.
