Lance is just a normal boy, who loves photography and singing. He's heard stories of the sirens since he was little, him mom filled his mind with wonderful fantasies. His father, claims he's seen one. All his life he's dreamt of meeting one, and some say they live among the people, transforming when in contact with water. In fact, he chose to work at a flower shop on the edge of the board walk, one for his photography, and two, he secretly looked for mermaids on his free time. Once in a while after work, he takes his father's sail boat out on the water. Its his favorite thing to do, and sometimes he takes his nephew with him.

"You will be working in pairs-" Lance's face lit up. He already turned to Hunk's desk to ask him to work with him. "-who will be chosen alphabetically." Lance froze. He has to dress undercover to teach dance classes and one day, the Voltron Studio announces that they need backup dancers for one of their clientele, Keith. Of course, many people show up to the first class, trying to be chosen for his backup dancer. Ironically, Keith is the one holding the class to learn the dance to become his backup dancer, and he is looking forward to it. Immediately though, someone stands out and he can't get his mind off them. All he can remember are those bright ocean eyes.
