The only world that Eleven's ever known is the world inside of Hawkins National Laboratory. She has lived there her entire life together with a bunch of scientists and her papa who does experiements on her because she has telekinetic powers. There was some other kids there too before but not anymore. One day they just disappeared one by one and now she's alone. She dreams about the world outside of the Lab and what's out there everyday because she's not treated well in the lab. Michael Wheeler's world on the other hand is like any other kids. Normal and boring. He has a regurlar family with a mom, a dad and two sisters and a small group of friends. He goes to middle school and is the president of the AV club. The most exciting thing that happens in his life is when he and his friends plays Dungeons & Dragons together. What he dreams about is to experience an adventure and for something exciting to happen in little Hawkins. What will happen when these two worlds collide?

3 years have past by and everyone has moved on from the freak incident in 1983. Everyone except Mike. Mike made a promise, promises don't get broke. But will he get his promise back?
