Split (2016) Fanfiction, Soulmate AU when soulmates have the first words of their soulmate somewhere on their body. Takes place before the film, but later leads into the events. Iris Mayfair had always had a rough life because of her soulmarks; she knew others who had two or three marks struggled with hatred and abuse in their lives, majority of people believing that they were freaks to have so many soulmates. Abused and beaten as more and more marks appeared on her body over the years, Iris is well into her twenties by the time all twenty-three marks were fully legible on her skin, and a murky, unfinished twenty-fourth comes into fruition.
