Every morning I wake up to make my dad breakfast. Every morning I take the same pan out of the cabinet. Every morning I crack the same eggs and do my homework. Every morning little Jimmy throws the newspaper too close to our garden gnome, and every morning I move it back into place. I live according to a routine; I am predictable. The town I live in is predictable. It's suffocatingly small with the same 500 people that everyone knows. I go to the same small school with my same small amount of friends. I eat lunch with those very same people. This summer has been no different. I get up every morning make my dad breakfast repeat everything all over again, and then I go out to the field near Bradbury Farms, and I watch as the hot air balloons take their daily flights. I sit, and wait, and think. It seemed the coming school year wouldn't be any different. That was until Ty Morgan uttered two straightforward stupid words to me, and those words couldn't have come at a better time. *Warning includes some explicit language and violence.
