Maura is the new ME at BPD. But she's not the Maura Isles we've come to know (not entirely). Jane finds herself allowing things she would never allow anyone to do ( even liking it ) Maura is cold and commanding as the new Medical Examiner, ready to turn BPD upside down (but in a good way). I know this summary sucks lol
